The film revolves around the beautiful prince Dev (Salman Khan) and his love for a girl named Meenakshi (Kareena Kapoor). The prince has to marry someone he does not love in order to take his throne, and falls in-love with Meenakshi. But she is chosen as the queen of another kingdom, and this desire for her makes him lose everything. He then sets out on a long journey that leads him into many hilarious adventures that leave the audience in splits. Music composed by A. R. Rahman.
